Man leads Colerain police on high speed chase

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A man is behind bars after a high speed chase in Colerain Township.

Authorities say that Ryan Stark, 20, lead police on a 15 minute chase on Saturday.

Police were called to a house in the 1000 block of Roppelt Road after receiving reports of a man with an AR-15. The man was said to be firing shots and yelling at his girlfriend.

When authorities arrived, police say the suspect took off in his truck, dumping his gun and magazines out the window as he fled.

Officers stopped Stark just before noon on Stone Mill Road.

Stark is scheduled to appear in court on Monday facing a number of charges.
