COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) -

Covington Police discovered a meth lab at a home on Sunday afternoon.

Officers responded to a home in the 4500 block of Amber Driver to assist the Cabinet for Family and Children (CFC) with an investigation.

During the investigation, it was discovered that a possible active Methamphetamine Lab was inside the residence.

The Kenton County Emergency Management, Covington Fire Department, and Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force (NKDSF) were requested to assist, due to the potential hazard.

Covington Police made entry and discovered components of a Meth Lab.  The NKDSF is handling the cleanup and the investigation. 

One person has been arrested and charges are pending on another subject who was not present. Their names have not been released.
