CLATSKANIE, OR (KPTV) -

An 8-year-old Longview boy died Sunday a week after being involved in a crash on Highway 30 west of Clatskanie.

Noah Waite-Brown was a passenger in a car involved in a two-car, head-on crash on April 14.

The crash sent seven people to the hospital including four children.

Lieutenant Duane Stanton said a 1998 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Lucas Brown was heading eastbound on Highway 30 when it went across the center line on a curve and hit a 2003 Mini Cooper driven by Kimberly Sultan.

Lucas Brown was taken by life flight to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center where he died.

Noah Waite-Brown was being treated at Randall Children's Hospital.

The other passenger in Brown's car, 7-year-old Kane Brown was taken by ambulance to Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Mini-Cooper was last known to be in critical condition at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center.

The passengers in the Mini-Cooper were taken to Columbia Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
