CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Several made it down to Fountain Square on Monday to raise awareness of crimes against children.

The first ever 'Million March Against Child Abuse' was held in over 200 cities across the country in an effort to prevent child abuse.

Organizers also pushed for congress to form a child abuse registry, similar to the one already established for sex offenders.

Statistics show that 10 children die everyday at the hands of their abusers.
