CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A three night Jeopardy champion was back in the hot seat Monday night.

John Anneken, 26, is a University of Cincinnati Pharmacy School graduate and works for UC as a postdoctoral researcher. Earlier this month, he won Jeopardy for three nights in a row, but the run came to an end on Monday. He was in second place going into final Jeopardy, but missed the question and bid everything but $2. He ended up in third place.

His three day total in winnings is now at $60,112.

Anneken's winning streak had to be put on hold for the college tournament of champions.

Anneken has been trying out to be on Jeopardy for 14 years, or since he was 12-years-old.
