The father of an infant found dead in a freezer last year is going to prison for 15 years.

Antonio Cervantes was sentenced in Lucas County court Tuesday morning.

Cervantes pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, tampering with evidence, abuse of a corpse and child endangering charges on March 11. In April of last year a person cleaning a rental home in east Toledo found the frozen corpse of a baby in a refrigerator.

Cervantes and the baby's mother, Kenisha Pruitt, were both charged in the case. In February Pruitt was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for her part in the baby's death.
