NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A Whites Creek man said a driver intentionally tried running him over while he was mowing his front lawn.

The victim told police the same man who tried to run him over had been parking outside his home for months and videotaping his wife and daughter.

The victim said he filed a police report after he asked the suspect, Roger Allen Meyer, 47 to stop videotaping his family but Meyer refused.

The victim said he followed the suspect to Whites Creek High School and saw him enter the building.

He said he reported the videotaping to school administrators, but the next day he said Meyer tried running him over while the man had a video camera.

It's unclear if Meyer works at Whites Creek High School.

According to the police report, officers found Meyer car parked at the school and arrested him.

Meyer is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He posted $5,000 bail and was released.
