WORCESTER, MA (WSHM) -
State police in Worcester arrested four people they say were carrying $148,030 in cash after a high-speed chase and foot pursuit.
Troopers allegedly got into a high-speed chase after trying to pull over a Subaru on Route 290 east in Worcester Thursday morning.
Police say three passengers got out of the car and tried to run from police.
One of the passengers was 18-year-old Jabriel Nabulsi, of Worcester. Troopers say he was carrying two shopping bags with the $148,030 in cash.
The two other passengers were 17-year-old Karla Ocasio and a juvenile male.
Troopers later caught up with the Subaru's alleged driver, 17-year-old Michael Tisdell, of Worcester.
Tisdell is facing several traffic violations including reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
Nabulsi and Ocasio are both facing disorderly conduct.
