LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

An East Texas woman is charged with assault on another woman, using a tire tool.

21-year-old Miranda Kirkpatrick of Longview, was arrested by Longview police shortly before 10p.m. at College and Main streets.

She is accused of striking a woman with the iron handle of a car jack.

Kirkpatrick is being held on $25-thousand dollars bond, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The woman who was injured was hospitalized, but it is not clear on the extent of her injuries.
