VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Somebody got over $112,500 richer on Sunday and it wasn't you or me. Will Wilcox shot a final round 73 to win the South Georgia Classic golf tournament in Valdosta at -15, 4 strokes ahead of 2nd place Zach Sucher.

The 26-year-old Wilcox hours hoisted the trophy at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club. He came into the final round with a 7 shot lead after shooting a course record 63 on Saturday.

It was the Birmingham native's first career win on the Web.com tour.

Albany's Josh Broadaway missed the cut this weekend,  golf pro John Daly finished 4 over par tied for 53.
