LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – You could say this 24th Kentucky Great Bed Races ended with a photo finish!

Curtain Call Photo Booth took the win in the Champion division of the event held Monday night at Broadbent Arena.

According to the Kentucky Derby Festival, the winners participated in the 11th of 20 heats with a time of 25.7 seconds.

Rubbies Southside Grill came in a close second with a time of 26.88 seconds and the UAW/Ford Assembly Plant took third place with a time of 27.7 seconds. 

The event was not all about speed though. The Apple Valley Gang won in the Fun division with a time of 25.8 seconds. Two teams took second, with Wellstone Regional Hospital and Air Hydro Power with a time of 27.1 seconds. Chegg claimed third place with a time of 27.5 seconds.

A total of $734 was raised in voting, with half the money going to the Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation and half to Kosair Bravehearts.

The award for the Best Decorated Bed and the People's Choice award went to Rubbies Southside Grill & Bar who made their bed into an old time movie theme with pigs.

The award for Most Entertaining went to Wellstone Regional Hospital who used their bed to create a Village People theme.

Ironically, the bed voted most like Most Likely to Break Down was made by Mattress & More.

The Cone Eater award went to Heartland Payment Systems #1.
