ARDMORE, AL (WAFF) -

In Ardmore on Tuesday, Limestone County Sheriff's deputies and Huntsville narcotics officers executed a search at a home where the residents were suspected of growing and selling marijuana.

The search resulted in the seizure of 50 marijuana plants growing in a shed on the property near the residence and several items of paraphernalia, such as high wattage grow-lights, fans, heaters, fertilizer, pipes, and pots.

Authorities said the street value of the items seized is more than $100,000.

Two people were taken into custody: 55- old Darlene Gale Crane and 60-year-old Richard Anthony Hairr, who suffered a bout with high blood pressure during the search and was taken to the emergency room.

Hairr and Crane are in the Limestone County Jail charged with trafficking marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
