Around 270,000 gather to watch 2013 Republic Bank Pegasus Parade

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A crowd of about 270,000 people crowded along Broadway, in downtown Louisville, to watch the 58th annual Republic Bank Pegasus Parade.

The University of Louisville men's and women's basketball teams served as the Grand Marshals for Thursday's event.

The theme for the 2013 event was "Now, That's Entertainment!" From floats, to celebrities, marching bands, animals and even members of the WAVE 3 crew the parade provided a variety of entertainment for all ages.
