(WTVM) -

Another man has been arrested in connection to the murder of Sergeant 1st Class Donald Wilson, the Fort Benning soldier who was found dead on Monday.

Mike Tucker, 42, is behind bars after authorities say he used his children to lure the victim from his home.

Sheriff Heath Taylor with the Russell County Sheriff's Office says Tucker allegedly called Wilson and claimed he'd run out of gas and was stranded.

Wilson left his home, bought a can of gas and took it to Tucker. Hours later, it was the same gas used to turn Wilson's car into an inferno.

Tucker is the third person to be charged with this gruesome murder. The victim's wife, Gloria Wilson and her boyfriend Travis Leonard have also been charged with murder.

Authorities say Gloria Wilson is the mastermind behind the entire murder plot. Taylor says Gloria Wilson planned the murder for nearly a year.

He says evidence shows she may have a sexual relationship with Tucker as well as Leonard.

Sheriff Taylor says they are prepared to search the Chattahoochee River for the murder weapon, and they do believe the gun on Gloria Wilson's Facebook page is the gun used during the murder.

Sheriff Taylor also told us that evidence shows there was a romantic relationship between Tucker and SSG Wilson's wife, Gloria Wilson.

We'll continue following this story and bring you more information as it becomes available.
