TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Police need the public's help identifying suspects in a safe-cracking ring that has been striking Toledo businesses.

Police say the suspects are professionals who know what they are doing. They work quickly and quietly, striking during overnight hours. Since early April, they have been cutting alarms to businesses and prying open safes and ATMs.

So far, the suspects have hit seven businesses, mostly in west Toledo, including Jackpot Fever and Toledo Family Pharmacy.

According to police, the first four hits were pulled off by two men, and the fifth hit had an extra helper.

"They definitely know what they're doing, first, by disabling the alarms. They don't seem to be very concerned about the video surveillance, because they're not wearing masks in the pictures - most of them. So they don't seem to be concerned or in fear of being caught. They're very efficient and quiet. They do it quickly. They're in and out very quickly. So they must have some pretty good experience," said Lt. Mark King.

New surveillance photos were released Friday of the men who were possibly involved with a break-in at Eastgate Carryout in south Toledo May 11. Authorities also now have a photo of a car. Police say these are the same men who have been working as a crew since April.

If you recognize any of these suspects, call CrimeStoppers at 419-255-1111. You could be eligible for a cash reward.
