CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Officials with the Flying Pig Marathon say Saturday's Flying Pig 5K and Toyota 10K races are both sold out.

According to Executive Director Iris Simpson-Bush, there will be no on-site registration available on Saturday.

A maximum of 5,500 participants were planned for the 3.1 mile race, and officials say those spots were filled at the P&G Health and Fitness Expo on Friday.

In addition, the 10K race sold out due to an 'overwhelming response'. A maximum of 5,700 runners were allotted for the 6.2 mile race.

"Last year's Flying Pig 5K had a field of 4,198 but we prepared for an additional number due to the growing support for the Marathon in light of the Boston Marathon Tragedy," said Simpson-Bush.

The sell outs are based on course capacity and number of medals and T-shirts available for participants.
