NASCAR will local honor members of the military at Talladega

Posted: Updated:

NASCAR will welcome service men and women from Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, Ala. at Talladega Superspeedway. The troops will attend the Aaron's 499 on Sunday, May 5 as part of NASCAR's Troops to the Track® program—a partnership with the Armed Forces Foundation that treats members of our military to a daylong NASCAR-style VIP experience.

The airmen and women will be treated to interactive at-track experience, which includes a special invitation and recognition at the driver's pre-race meeting, a private tour of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garage, pit road access during driver introductions / National Anthem and special seating in the grandstands. The initiative is just one way the NASCAR community gives back to members of the military for the sacrifices they've made in defense of our nation. Troops to the Track will honor service men and women at 26 races throughout the 2013 season.
