Damek Tomscha tied the game with a sixth-inning two-run home run and Cullen Wacker hit a tie-breaking sacrifice fly three batters later as the Auburn baseball team evened its series against No. 18 Ole Miss with an 8-5 win on Saturday night. The win improved Auburn's record to 26-19, 8-15 SEC while Ole Miss fell to 33-15, 12-11 SEC.

"I thought our offense did a great job tonight," Auburn Head Coach John Pawlowski said. "We had to shuffle the lineup around to see what works and what doesn't work. We put guys in different spots and everyone in the lineup found a way to contribute."

The bottom four in Auburn's lineup combined to go 8-for-16 with six runs scored and six RBI. Jordan Ebert had a single, scored a run and drove in two from the six-hole, Ryan Tella was had two hits, including a double, scored two runs and had a RBI from the seven spot, Tomscha drove in two with his homer and Blake Austin had a RBI and scored twice.

Trailing 5-3 after Ole Miss put three on the board in the fifth, Tella led off the sixth with a single to knock Ole Miss starter Mike Mayers out of the game. Aaron Greenwood (3-3) came in from the bullpen to face Tomscha, who sent a 1-1 offering over the wall in left for his fourth home run of the season to tie it at 5-5.

Austin, who finished the night 4-for-4, followed with the second of his three doubles and went to third on a wild pitch before scoring on Wacker's sac fly to left for the 6-5 lead.

Auburn added two insurance runs in the seventh when doubles from Tella and Austin both drove in runs.

The comeback made a winner out of Justin Camp (5-1), who had entered with Auburn up, 3-2, with two on and none out in the fifth for starter Michael O'Neal but allowed three runs in the inning, giving O'Neal his first no-decision of the season.

Terrance Dedrick earned his sixth save of the season by retiring the final eight Ole Miss hitters. He entered with one down and a man on second in the seventh and did not allow a base runner, finishing his 2 2/3 inning outing with three strike outs.

The win was Auburn's 17th come-from-behind win of the season and its fourth win against a ranked team.

Auburn will attempt to win its third SEC series of the season at 1pm on Sunday. Auburn will start left-hander Daniel Koger (0-2) against Ole Miss right-hander Sam Smith (2-0).
