LAWRENCEBURG, IN (FOX19) -

Testimony continued in the trial of a Northern Kentucky man accused of murdering an Indiana woman.

Charles Stephenson faces life in prison without parole for the murder of 67-year-old Leigh Jennings.

Jennings' body was found on April 5, 2012 in her Aurora home. Police say Jennings had actually been killed days before, on March 29.

Investigators believe Stephenson beat Leigh Jennings to death with a pepper grinder and a skillet in her home.

If convicted, he faces life in prison without parole. Prosecutors say the trial is expected to last into next week.

Stephenson is the nephew of Bill and Peggy Stephenson, who were murdered in Boone County in 2011. Their murders remain unsolved, but Stephenson is not a suspect in that case.
