It has been three months since Jim Wilson and Associates announced several new businesses were coming to the high point shopping center in Prattville.
Since the announcement there hasn't been a rush of businesses to high point but it appears things are changing for the better. For example, the first floor of this building you see behind is about to become a medical clinic.
Across the street at republic finance branch manager Brittany Holladay looks over the paperwork of customers. Holladay says there is no question moving to high point was the right move. A few doors down Kyle Byron feels the same way.
Chappy's is a month away from opening. Jim Wilson and Associates believe the momentum is catching on; two new businesses. William-Mason and the surgical clinic we just pointed out.
Holladay and Byron say so far no regrets moving to high point. Business is good. They feel good about the future.
Prattville believes it will see at least one million dollars in additional sales taxes once these new businesses are up and running.
