TALLADEGA, Ala. (AP) - Searchers looking for a Georgia car racing fan last seen in a campground at Talladega Superspeedway have been using tracking dogs, boats, aircraft, and four-wheelers in an attempt to find him.

Talladega County Sheriff Jimmy Kilgore said Wednesday that other law enforcement agencies have joined the search for 28-year-old Nicholas Bower of Villa Rica, Ga.

The Daily Home newspaper reports (http://bit.ly/10d4tA1) that Bower came to the NASCAR race at Talladega with his girlfriend, but has not been seen since.

His girlfriend Jennifer Boesch pleaded with other race fans to check all their tents, vehicles and RVs for any signs of Bower.

She said she awoke at the campground around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, and Bower was gone. Boesch said he had "never done anything remotely like this."
