NEW ORLEANS (WAFB) -

Catholic High beat Sulphur High 4-2 in the LHSAA 5A baseball playoffs. The Bears advance to play West Monroe on Saturday. 

Class 5A's semifinals have been scheduled for 4pm and 7pm with the Championship game taking place Sunday.

In 3A playoff action Parkview Baptist beat North DeSoto and advances to play E.D. White in the championship game Saturday at 1pm.

In MAIS, the Central Private Rebels won the championship series 2-0 with a 14-2 victory over Marshall.
