SAFFORD, AZ (CBS5) -

Authorities are investigating the cause of a wildfire that burned approximately 43 acres in Rincon Canyon.

The Safford Ranger District of the Coronado National Forest said the fire was reported at 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday near Rincon Spring and they believe someone started the blaze.

The fire burned grass and oak at an elevation near 5,000 feet. No structures were reportedly threatened.

Three full firefighter crews, one short crew, four engines and one helicopter worked to put out the fire.
