EAST PRICE HILL (FOX19) -

Crews were called to a fire in East Price Hill Friday evening.

It happened at an apartment building located in the 900 block of Chateau Street around 9:15 p.m. Officials on scene say the fire was located on the second floor of the three-story building.

Upon arrival, crews found a small working fire, which was knocked out within 15 minutes. However, while searching the apartment firefighters found a woman unconscious.

The victim had to be resuscitated on scene and was taken to UC Medical Center. Her condition has not yet been released.

No other injuries were reported. 

The fire was determined to have started in the kitchen. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. 

In total, 32 firefighters responded to the scene.

Damage is estimated at $10,000.
