The LSU bats came alive early in the second game against Texas A&M with a couple three run innings.

The first three Tiger runs came in the second inning. JaCoby Jones drove in the first run with a RBI single to right field. Andrew Stevenson dropped down a bunt to score Christian Ibarra from third to make it 2-0 LSU. LSU came back in the fourth to score three more runs. It started off with another RBI single to right by McMullen to score Jones. Jared Foster added a single to center driving in Stevenson to make it 5-0. The 6th run came on a passed ball which scored McMullen from third.

McMullen continued his big night in the 6th inning with a RBI triple down the right field line to plate home Stevenson from first. McMullen is 4-4 with 3 RBI through the 6th inning.

Aaron Nola was cruising until he got to the bottom of the sixth inning. Nola gave up two runs on four hits but got out the jam after Hunter Melton popped out to Alex Bregman.
