MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -
Three people are under arrest and charged in connection with Montgomery's 23rd homicide of 2013, the Montgomery Police Department confirmed Thursday afternoon.
The suspects are identified as Mitchell Bracknell, 31, Brandon Bracknell, 18 and William Kyle Richards, 24. Each is charged with one count of capital murder in the death of Thomas Bracknell, 54.
Each of the suspects is related to the victim. According to police the vicim is the uncle of each suspect. Police say their
investigation leads them to believe a family dispute led to the man's
MPD detectives charged Brandon Bracknell and William Kyle Richards on Wednesday. Mitchell Bracknell was taken into custody later in the day by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. Authorities say all three man are being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
The investigation started on Tuesday, May 14 when police and medics were called to a home in the 2300 block of McCarter Street where they found the victim's body inside of a storage shed.
Detectives reported that Mr. Bracknell's body was wrapped in bed sheets and say he suffered blunt force trauma to his head and body.
The case is ongoing and authorities are not releasing any additional details at this time.
