Final showing to be held of NKY mystery mansion

EDGEWOOD, KY (FOX19) -

This weekend marks the final showing of a phenomenal home recently built in Northern Kentucky.

The home, located at 3313 Turkeyfoot Road in Edgewood, has managed to create quite a 'buzz' around town.

It is roughly 15,000 square feet sitting on approximately eight acres of land. Crews have been working to complete the mansion for over a year.

The custom home was built by Tim Burks Builder, Inc. of Fort Thomas, and the interior design for the home was led by Grace Jones of 'Dwellings' Interior Design in O'Bryonville.

The design is inspired by turn-of-the-century, classic French Chateau estates. The home is bordered by a lake with an arched stone monument wall, 'resembling the Roman Aqueducts'.

When FOX19 covered this home in March, crews wouldn't disclose the cost of the custom home, but said it was 'in the millions'.

The owners of this amazing home have not been disclosed. However, crews say they are expected to move in this summer.

Local residents have had the chance to visit the home during the Northern Kentucky Home Builders Association's Cavalcade of Homes.

The final weekend is May 18 and 19 from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

Parking for the tour is at Caywood Junior High School, at 3300 Turkeyfoot Road.
