MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) -

A bystander is in hot water after a late night crash in Middletown.

Police say they were called to Verity Parkway to investigate a head on crash,

An investigation revealed that a car driven by Daniel Guy Rich of Dallas, Texas had lost control and hit a PT Cruiser head on.

A 17-year-old female was ejected from the PT Cruiser. She was transported to Atrium Medical Center and later transferred to Dayton Children's Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the PT Cruiser, an unnamed male, had to be cut from the car and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

A 4-month-old baby and another passenger in the PT Cruiser were taken to the hospital as well. The baby has been released.

Rich had to be cut from his car as well. However, officers say his injuries are minor. Officers say Rich will be charged with OVI, no having a license,  driving the wrong way on the highway, three counts of aggravated vehicular assault and a few other traffic charges.

While working the crash scene, officers say they heard someone calling "help me". Officers began to search the woods for another crash victim.

Police say they found a 17-year-old bystander on the other side of the wood line yelling. She was charged with misconduct at an emergency and will appear in court.
