The National Weather Service confirmed two brief EF-0 tornados touchdowns in Limestone County Friday.

The first one touched down in Athens and the second one touched down near Elkmont.

The National Weather Service confirmed wind damage near Hines and Moyers Street. Several cars in the Walmart parking lot were damaged.

According to authorities, one person was injured at Walmart as they were running for cover.

There were several leaks in the Walmart roof. Firefighters used ladder trucks to check the roof for damage.

Two homes on Hardiman Lane received minor roof damage and one barn on Hardiman Lane received minor damage.

A few large tree limbs fell on Roy Long Road.
