CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Records show Ariel Castro has had his first visits from relatives in the County Jail where he sits accused of holding three women and a child hostage for years.

A visitors log shows two relatives - his mother and a woman believed to be his sister - went to visit him on Friday, May 17. The only other visits listed on the log are meetings with his attorneys on May 10 and May 14.

Castro remains under tight restrictions. He is being held alone in a cell under and is under watch 24/7. Guards are writing down everything Castro does every 10 minutes. The jail calls this "suicide precaution."

Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight were rescued from Ariel Castro's Seymour Avenue home on May 6. The women had been held against their will and sexually assaulted for years.

Berry went missing in 2003 a day shy of her 17th birthday. DeJesus disappeared as she walked home from school in 2004 at the age of 14. Knight went missing in 2002 at the age of 21.

Castro is currently jailed on $8M bond.
