MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Four months after their loved ones were killed in a brutal crime, the families of the victims are seeking justice. Three Montgomery residents were found dead inside a car along Interstate 85 near Atlanta in January. Since then, there have been few leads.

"Every time I look at a picture of him, I say my brother's dead, how is that so," said Bridget Miller, a sister of Rodney Cottrell.

Cottrell, Cheryl Colquitt-Thompson, and her uncle Quinones King were found strangled and suffocated inside Thompson's care on the side of I-85 near Atlanta.

"The way that they took his life, you have to be heartless to take someone's life they way that you did,' said Monica Chamblis, Cottrell's niece.

The trail for the alleged killers is cold. A push from CrimeStoppers in late February yielded no tips.

"For what my common sense tells me, whenever somebody do something, they gonna tell somebody," said Jason Cottrell, a brother of Rodney Cottrell. "There's no such thing as getting away scott free."

If you have any information about the crime, you're asked to contact CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP.
