LEBANON, TN (WSMV) -

A robbery has shaken a 77-year-old Lebanon man after he was attacked in his store by someone pretending to be a customer.

Frank Green, owner of Green's Appliance, said he was knocked out cold and robbed by a man still on the loose.

"I don't want to see anybody else get killed or anything because I might have been dead this morning," said Green.

Green said a man came to his store Thursday afternoon asking about stoves and refrigerators. When he turned to work on a washer, Green said the man struck.

"He came up from behind and hit me right across my head," said Green. "I went over against this wall right here."

Green said he was robbed while he laid on the floor out cold. He stayed there until he was found by a FedEx man.

"Thank the good Lord they were around," said Green. "Blood was all over my back, all over my shoulders, all down my face and eyes."

Green's son is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of his father's attacker.

"If I see him, and he comes in this place, he might not go out," said Green.

If you have any information on Green's attacker, please contact Lebanon police.
