Selma H.S. teacher indicted on multiple sex charges against students

SELMA, AL (WSFA) -

A Selma High School teacher was indicted Wednesday by a Dallas County grand jury on four counts of inappropriate sexual relationships with students.

Latengela Williams will be arraigned in circuit court in the coming months.

Williams was arrested on April 19, 2013 at the school on:

Possession of Obscene Matter Containing Visual Depiction of Persons under 17 Years of Age Involved in Obscene Acts – class B Felony

Electronic Solicitation of a Child – class B Felony

Enticing a Minor for Immoral Purposes – class B Felony

School Employee having Sexual Contact with a Student – class A Misdemeanor 

Authorities arrested the teacher after an investigation that spanned several months. As part of her bond agreement of $100,000 Williams is required to live with her parents, cannot be on school property or attend school events, cannot contact any alleged victims or their families, and cannot lead or organize any event involving children.
