House damaged by fire in Madison

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A vacant house in Madison was damaged by fire Tuesday morning.

The fire occurred around 9 a.m. near Peeler Park off Neelys Bend Road.

Firefighters said hot temperatures made fighting the blaze difficult, causing them to rotate crews and hydrate themselves repeatedly.

No injures have been reported.
