HAYNEVILLE, AL (WSFA) -

The man accused of killing two Montgomery children and their elderly caretaker finally has a date with a grand jury.

Deandra Lee is accused of murdering 9-year-old twins Jordan and Taylor DeJerinett and their 73-year-old caretaker Jack Mac Girdner back in June of 2012.

One year later, Lee's case is finally set to go to a grand jury on July 22, 2013.

Lee is charged with three counts of murder related to those deaths - but that's not all.

Court records show Lee now faces two additional charges relating to his activities while behind bars since his arrest last year. Lee is also charged with having a cell phone while in jail as well as promoting prison contraband.

In a letter addressed to the court, the family of Jack Girdner is asking for more than $5,500 in restitution relating to the caretaker's death.
