INDEPENDENCE, MO (KCTV) -

A bank robbery in Independence, MO, led to a standoff in Kansas City, MO, Saturday.

Police said at least two men held up the Enterprise Bank and Trust located on East Valley View Parkway, just off of U.S. Highway 40 about noon. Officers have the two men in custody.

Police believe there was a third suspect who was outside the bank and that person was involved in a standoff in the area of Byram's Ford Road and East 53rd Terrace. The standoff ended peacefully more than fours later with the third suspect giving himself up.

No injuries have been reported.

A second separate robbery was reported a short time earlier.

The FBI said the Arvest Bank on Blue Ridge Boulevard, just north of Bannister Road, was robbed about 11:40 a.m.

Officials described the suspect as a black male wearing a cowboy hat and black and tan checkered shirt. They said he was wearing blue jeans and weighed about 160 pounds.

The FBI said the suspect did show a weapon and ran from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
