PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A father and son were injured after the motorcycle they were riding on collided with a truck in a construction zone, Phoenix police said.

The dad and his 13-year-old son were taken to the hospital. They're expected to be OK. Their names were not released.

Police said the pair was wearing helmets when the crash occurred about 2:45 p.m. Sunday on 19th Avenue south of Dunlap Avenue.

No other information was immediately available.
