HOLYOKE, MA (WSHM) -

Holyoke and State police continue to investigate last night's Walnut Street shooting.

Police told CBS 3 a 25-year-old Holyoke man was rushed into emergency surgery at Baystate Medical Center. He is in serious, but stable condition.

Police said there appeared to be a moving disturbance in the area of the shooting. There were a number of witnesses, but no one is assisting police.

There are no suspects at this time.
