EVENDALE, OH (FOX19) -

One man was tazed at an Evendale gas station after attempting to conceal a gun in a hat.

Officers pulled over a vehicle in the 10700 block of Reading Road at McSwain Drive around 2 a.m. early Friday morning.

Two men were in the pulled over vehicle. Police say they saw the passenger of the vehicle attempt to conceal something in a rolled up hat. Officers demanded the man to throw down the hat but the man refused.

Police tazed the man after he did not comply. They say a gun was found in the hat.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested for drug abuse, drug possession and traffic charges. The passenger was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and resisting arrest.
