CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority signed an agreement Friday with the City of Cincinnati to lease and own part of the City's parking system.

The Port Authority will oversee the management of both parking meters for the next 30 years and city-owned parking lots and garages for up to 50 years.

According to Lynn Marmer, Vice Chair of the Port Board, the agreement has a 75-day period for review and due diligence. The board asked the City for time to review the lease and related parts of the deal.

City Manager Milton Dohoney signed the parking lease Wednesday after winning an appeal in court.
