CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Ridin' N Peace Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show and Ride Along was held on Saturday at McKie Recreation Center.

This event, postponed due to weather last month, is being hosted in and by a community committed to confronting violence in order to make the community a safe place to live. Ridin' N Peace is designed to make a powerful statement to the community in promoting peace and non-violence throughout the city.

The event featured a funeral-like procession led by police escort, a black horse and a combination of 50 or more cars, trucks and motorcycles each bearing a funeral flag.

The procession began at 11:00 a.m. and exited Northside through some of Cincinnati's 52 neighborhoods. The procession returned to Northside around 11:45 a.m.

All were invited to enjoy a day of music, provided by McKie Recreation Center, free food, guest speakers, information, resources and classic cars.
