CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

One of six teenagers involved in the August 2012 beating of a North College Hill man was sentenced on Monday.

He will be on probation until he is 21-years-old and must complete 10 work details and 500 hours of community service. Judge Hunter told the teen in Hamilton County Juvenile Court if he should violate either sentence, he will go to jail until he is 21-years-old.

He was the first to be sentenced in the case.

The boys are charged with assaulting Pat Mahaney, 45, on Aug. 11, 2012 because they were "bored and looking for something to do."

At the time of the assault, the six teenagers were 13 and 14-years-old.
