SOUTH FAIRMOUNT, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati Police are investigating a fatal shooting on Tuesday morning in South Fairmount. 

It happened around 9 a.m. in the 2200 block of Van Hart Street near Westwood Avenue.

Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered a 2005 Volkswagen stopped in the middle of the street. Inside the vehicle, police found a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Ramone Hayden. 

A black male with a red ball cap was seen running into the woods. Police set up a perimeter and called in a K9 unit, but so far no arrests have been made.

The shooting is believed to be drug-related.
