July 3, 2013 - Kenilworth Independence Day Parade - Kenilworth Neighborhood on Kenilworth Parkway in Baton Rouge, LA 70808. The events are from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Kenilworth honors those who serve in our nation's armed forces with their parade. "Hometown Heroes" is their parade theme. Grand Marshall is Collis Temple, Jr, former LSU basketball great and BR civic leader. Thousands of spectators enjoy this event, showered with beads, trinkets, and candy by the many parade participants as all celebrate our nation's birthday.
