NEW RIVER, AZ (CBS5) -

A rollover crash involving a truck and trailer on northbound Interstate 17 near New River is causing a lengthy backup Friday afternoon, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

DPS said crews are working to tow the 30-foot, noncommercial trailer.

The driver in the single-vehicle crash had minor injuries, DPS said.

ADOT said the crash is blocking the left lane and the right lane remains open but traffic is moving slowly with a five-mile backup as of 2:30 p.m.

There is no estimated time for when the left lane will reopen.

No other details were immediately available on the cause of crash or injuries.
