Two men are hospitalized Friday evening after a home invasion in the Inglenook community.
The men say they were beat up and robbed while sitting in the east Birmingham home. Sherea Harris spoke with a third man who lives in the home. He tells her that when he came home from work, he found the house ransacked and his two roommates bleeding and bruised.
He says his friends were frantic and told him they had just been robbed. The man says four black men entered the house through a back door and demanded money. The victims say they were assaulted, pistol whipped, tied up and then covered with a blanket.
The roommate says that he has children and he's very glad they weren't at the house. He says the suspects stole a television, jewelry and speakers from one of the roommates' car.
FOX6 News has put a call into Birmingham Police for an update on the case and Sgt. Johnny Williams says the investigation is ongoing.
