The Montgomery Police Department has made two arrests in the city's 27th of 2013.

23 year old Lesherman Ringstaff and 19 year old Laterrious Davis turned themselves in to police, Sunday. They have both been charged with murder. Following their arrest, Ringstaff and Davis were transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility, where each was being held under a $75,000 bond.

The two are accused in the shooting death of 38-year-old Alvin Harris.

MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 500 block of W. Fairview Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, after receiving a report a subject had been shot. At the scene, they located Harris, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the scene.
