Lee, who is a citizen of South Korea, said he was heading home when he ran a red light. He pulled into a parking lot expecting to be pulled over.  He claims multiple cruisers arrived and the officers asked if he had been drinking.

Lee said he had much earlier in the evening, but was not impaired, just fatigued. Lee claimed video shows him passing a field sobriety test and blew a 0.06 on a breathalyzer.

Then he claims officers cursed at him, took him to the ground and tased and struck him even after he was in handcuffs.Lee said he did nothing to warrant the treatment.

The lawsuit also claims officers turned their camera away while he was being tased and beaten. Lee is seeking both punitive and compensatory damages.

The City of Prattville says it does not comment on pending litigation.
