WHITEHALL, AL (WSFA) -

Alabama State Troopers are working to determine the cause of a single-vehicle crash that killed a Hayneville man Wednesday morning.

Enoch Whatley, 55, was killed when the 1991 Acura Integra that he was driving left the roadway and overturned into a pond.

The crash happened around 4 a.m. on Mary Jackson Road, approximately 3 miles south of Whitehall.

Whatley was not wearing a seat belt.

Nothing further is available as State Troopers continue to investigate.
