TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Divers could be called to continue the search for 1-year-old Elaina Steinfurth in the Maumee River Thursday, despite the murky conditions.

The Toledo Fire Department says they will wait for orders from the Toledo Police Department to dive, and that they take it on a day-by-day basis.

Wednesday sparked a new search for missing Elaina after a fisherman's discovery of hair on his hook over the weekend was found to be human.

Police say DNA test to determine if the hair belongs to Elaina could take weeks.
